Dub Techno

Archive G is a various-artists 12-inch on spclnch, the Dutch label with an emphasis on dub. Four producers — DP-6, Eric Louis, Upwellings and Anton Kubikov — each turn in a cut between deep house and dub techno, running 123–129 BPM. Hazy, low-slung and curated for the label's spacefaring world.

Unsung lands on Italy's The Gods Planet with four cuts of dub techno. The Brussels DJ blends groovy and hypnotic sounds rooted in techno's foundations; 'Substance A' and 'Dylar' run 129-136 BPM, with remixes from Shoal and Midnight Traffic. Deep, dubby and crowd-connected.

Ackermann and Vinicius Honorio team up on Safe Space. The Berlin producer and the London-based Brazilian build a hypnotic, repetition-driven deep and dub techno cut, presented in 129 and 136 BPM versions with a Greg Gow remix and the B-side 'X9'. Tension-led and tightly controlled, for the deeper floor.

Stelios Vassiloudis on DubWax with 'Black Sesame'. The classically trained Athens producer, with degrees in acoustical engineering and composition, weaves intricate dub-techno soundscapes across four cuts at 123-129 BPM, from 'Lie In Wait' to 'Reverse Engineer'. Deep, dubbed-out, distributed through DBH-Music.

Saint Petersburg's Gradient turns in 'Relict II' on Matthew Oh's Outlaw — a dub techno original given three reworks. He keeps the source hypnotic at 123 BPM, with reworks from Federsen, Anton Kubikov and Altone reshaping it across the record. Deep and dubwise.

23.4 launches his own Dub Consistency with 'Elevation'. The Lille producer blends the spatial depth of dub techno with raw contemporary energy, running from 'Attitude' and the title cut at 140-144 BPM down to locked-groove tools, with a Volpe remix of 'Bring Back Memories'. Deep, dubbed-out, built for peak-time floors.

The seventh in OHM Series' numbered dub-techno 12-inches, gathering specialists of the field. Reykjavík-raised, Copenhagen-based Ohm opens it with Octal Industries and Federsen on 'System', alongside cuts from Lee Holman, Andrea Cichecki and El Choop. Deep, hypnotic dub techno running 120–129 BPM.

The third outing from Aarhus duo 2 Bit Crew on their own 2 Bit Crew Recordings. Three untitled cuts of warm, groove-led Danish house edging into dub-techno territory, holding a steady 123–125 BPM. Straightforward DJ tools from two producers with a shared house obsession.
