FJAAK

Hardware-built techno out of Spandau, on Berlin's outskirts, made by two people who grew up there together. The name is an acronym of four founders' initials — Felix Wagner, his brother Johannes, Aaron Röbig and Kevin Kozicki; Johannes left early to study and Kevin went solo in 2019, leaving Felix and Aaron as a duo. Having made all kinds of music first, they took on the city's inherited genre and made it their own, and now run the FJAAK and SPANDAU20 labels.
