Techno taken up in the early nineties at Limelight, where Jeff Mills held a residency and Dave Sumner held his first. Producing from the mid-nineties, with debut 12-inches on Damon Wild's Synewave and his own Infrastructure. A chance meeting with Regis in 1996 led to Portion Reform and made him the only non-Birmingham producer to appear on Downwards; he moved to Berlin in 2007 and turned his focus to Sandwell District, the label-collective that decentralised the artist ego and blurred the lines between artist, label and DJ. Also a recording artist for Ostgut Ton and Tresor.
