The studio pairing of Cardiff producers Lucas Alexander and Incus — the name is the two of them run together. Alexander is the Jamaican-Welsh DJ behind Rarebit Records, working a glitched-out minimal house that refracts UK garage and jungle, with records on Moxy Muzik, Seven Dials and Nervous; Incus came up through Dungeon Meat, landing on the Enter The Dungeon compilation that grew out of a Brawther sample-pack competition. Feel The Rhythm, their first record together, opens on Dungeon Meat sister label Slabs — slung low and sleazy, as they put it themselves.
