A sub-label of Montenegro's MixCult Records, taking its name from the Russian тамиздат — works "published there", a reference to Soviet-era texts banned at home and circulated abroad. MixCult carries that lineage forward through music, with TAMIZDAT releasing dub-leaning house and techno on limited-edition vinyl.
