Jazz and house fused by someone formally trained in the first — keyboard solos and funky bass guitar over improvised reworks, so no two live shows land the same. Ben Jacobs grew up tap dancing to jazz with his mother in Bristol, picked up guitar and bass as a teenager, and moved to Sweden in 2012, where an alliance with Local Talk began. The Tunnel EP on Futureboogie brought him to DJs' attention that same year; debut album Crescendo followed in 2015, and Coffee Time was built around a sample from an acapella group in his adopted Uppsala. Remixes for Joey Negro, Moulinex and Tom Misch since.
