The Reason Y

Creativity, ingenuity and intensity — techno built to connect with a room, under a name Frederik Laaser started in 2015. Born in northern Germany and raised in Schwerin, he spent his time and money on vinyl before moving to Berlin, having already played a decade under other aliases, from Club Komplex in 2006 through Fusion Festival. His productions caught the ear of Pan-Pot and Victor Calderone, and a place on Pan-Pot's Second State carried the sound to HYTE and Sunwaves, Labyrinth in Belgium and Loft Club in Germany. He is a resident at Watergate in Berlin, where he hosts his own TRY Land night alongside Nicole Moudaber, Julian Jeweil and Technasia.
