Len Faki’s first album under his own name, spread across an eight-record box on his Figure label, with each copy signed. One half stays with the techno he came up on, from the neon bleep of ‘Tor 8’ to the booming ‘Astra’. The other loosens into house, ambient and broken beat, with ‘Hymn (In The Name Of Freedom)’ and the subdued drum & bass of ‘Voices’. The two ‘Halide’ pieces were made in memory of his late mother.
