A trained drummer from the age of eleven who moved through jazz, fusion and progressive metal before turning that rhythmic instinct to techno in 2011 — and the percussive foundation still defines the work. His own label LHR arrived in 2015 with raw, warehouse-leaning material and a release party at Tresor, followed by EPs for Soma. The signature crystallised across Mutual Rytm's three-part "Sounds From The Past" series: early-2000s techno rebuilt through tape recording, hardware filtering and sampling rather than simply revived. "Mechanized" for Dax J's Monnom Black moved fully into dub and tribal territory, using familiar frameworks as cover for new ideas — classic on the surface, unfamiliar underneath.
