A perfect groove, chased since Germany's techno and acid-house heyday — stripped deep house, tweaked-out acid and the more minimal end of techno fused into one hybrid sound. DJing from 1991 around Bremen and Hamburg, with first productions in 1993 and the Raw Elements label close behind. Poker Flat arrived in 1999 with Loverboy and went on to define minimal tech-house, while Dessous took the classic deep-house end and Audiomatique the stranger one. A committed vinyl disciple: he still records his own records to audio before touring, to keep the mastered qualities of the original pressings on the road.
