Chicago house veteran Boo Williams lands on Island Life, the label run by Garry Todd, with three originals harder and rougher than his usual deep sound. The title track twists synths through techno-leaning drums, while ‘House Me Up’ returns to warm, familiar Boo chords. DJ More Entropic splits ‘Need Yo Luv Tonight’ into a rave-minded Hardcore mix and a darker Skeleton mix, and Todd’s Clouds Of Kouros alias sends ‘Galaxy House’ somewhere cosmic.
