House standards, rare soul grooves, Afrobeat and hip-hop classics woven into one set — nearly thirty years of it, most of them in Atlanta. Kevin Hyman learned to mix on the disco and house reaching Milwaukee from Chicago's airwaves, then joined Arrested Development as production manager and later DJ, earning credit on the Grammy-nominated Zingalamaduni before leaving in 1996. As a producer he formed KemeticJust with Just One for King Street, Nite Grooves and Yoruba, and took Anthony David's 4Evermore to No. 1 on Billboard's Urban Adult Contemporary chart. His FunkJazz Kafe residency ran thirteen years; his own Spread Love parties run now.
