Twelve tracks across four sides, nearly all of them locked at 144 — a hard, raw compilation with very little let-up, the one real break being Regent's Axial Tilt, which drops to a slow, heavy pulse late on the C-side. Slam, Cleric, Gary Beck, Keith Carnal, ANNĒ and Lars Huismann sit alongside less familiar names, and Arnaud Le Texier's inclusion closes a loop: his was the label's first release. Tenth outing for the Melbourne operation SPEZ started in 2017, which also books tours and runs the CLOSER festival.
