Ron Trent’s remixes of ‘Thursday, 2am’, from Satoshi Tomiie’s New Day album, return on Tomiie’s Abstract Architecture as a limited reissue. The main remix brings starry keys, undulating bass and jazzy synth stabs, and the remix dub strips it back to the groove. The tool edit from the first pressing is gone, replaced by the ‘7am Dub’, on vinyl for the first time: deep, fluid and hypnotic, in the vein of Trent’s Prescription years.
