Eight tracks of bouncy, percussive techno with warm low-end movement, using the double format for range rather than just length: most of it holds at 140, Shady Sands drops to a halftime crawl to end the B-side, and Four Seven Eight is the quickest thing here, opening the D-side. Named after the novel and film, and made by deliberately not producing — the sessions were left to unfold and taken as they came rather than shaped toward anything. Full-colour sleeve.
