Kevin Hyman learned to mix on the disco and house reaching Milwaukee from Chicago's airwaves, then joined Arrested Development as production manager and later DJ, earning credit on the Grammy-nominated Zingalamaduni before leaving in 1996. As a producer he formed KemeticJust with Just One for King Street, Nite Grooves and Yoruba, and took Anthony David's 4Evermore to No. 1 on Billboard's Urban Adult Contemporary chart. His FunkJazz Kafe residency ran thirteen years; his own Spread Love parties run now.
