Soul, house and hip hop mixed into one thing, twenty years deep in the Atlanta scene — rhythmic instrumentation under smooth layered vocals. That sound carries his own party series, Afrique Electrique and Sunday School, alongside Sol Fusion and House In The Park. Remixes for Anthony David, India Arie's Brown Skin and Jill Scott's Cross My Mind earned underground airplay nationally; he has shared bills with DJ Spinna, Rich Medina, ?uestlove and Kai Alce, and opened for Jay-Z, India Arie and The Roots. His 2009 producer-led project The Late Night Affair: Suite 701 introduced his AURALUXE label, and Late Night Ritual is his collaboration with DJ Kemit.
