The ninth release on Beste Modus, the Berlin collective's own vinyl label, splits the 12" between two of its members. Cinthie leads with ‘Everything I Say’ — choppy synth stabs, bumpy bass, heavily swung 909s and a hooky vocal — before ‘Good For You And Me’ edges into garage on bright piano chords. On the flip, stevn.aint.leavn strips it back with the rumbling subs and metallic percussion of ‘Quins’, then closes on the soft chords and airy chimes of ‘Spiff’.
